MNUFC2 announced today that Head Coach Jeremy Hall has accepted the role as the next United States U18 Men’s National Team head coach. The search for MNUFC2’s next head coach is already underway.

“We’re proud and excited for Jeremy. It’s a well-deserved honor that has arrived due to his outstanding mentorship and leadership,” said MNUFC Head of Development and Player Pathway, Amos Magee. “U.S. Soccer has made a great hire and as much as we’ll miss him here, I’m thrilled that he will have a hand in shaping future national team players as they continue their developmental path.”

Hall spent four seasons as a member of the MNUFC2 coaching staff, two of those campaigns as the Head Coach. During his time with MNUFC2, Hall led the Twos to their very-first MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs appearance and ultimately the Western Conference Final in 2025. Hall additionally helped prepare Minnesota United’s First Team ahead of its 2024 season, acting as an interim assistant coach throughout the entire preseason and the first three games of the MLS regular season, where MNUFC went an impressive 2-0-1 (W-L-D). He was notably chosen to lead the West Team during the MLS NEXT All-Star Game during MLS’ All-Star Week held in Minnesota in August 2022.

“When Amos Magee first reached out to offer me an initial job with MNUFC2, I was beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity. Years after that, Khaled El-Ahmad believed in my ability by putting me in a leadership position. That allowed me to grow into a better coach and person, and I am proud of the success we achieved here since then,” said Jeremy Hall. “I am forever grateful for the four seasons I had in Minnesota: Thank you to Cameron Knowles and his mentorship across these years; thank you to the club and the all of the coaching, technical and support staff for helping me learn, grow and develop into the coach and leader that I have become.”

Hailing from Tampa, Florida, Hall is a former MLS veteran, having played with Red Bull New York, Portland Timbers, FC Dallas, Toronto FC and the New England Revolution. He also played for Sacramento Republic FC of the USL Championship. Collegiately, Hall played soccer at the University of Maryland from 2006-2008, where he helped the Terrapins win the 2008 NCAA Division I National Championship. The former MLS defender currently holds a USSF National A Coaching License.

Internationally, Hall was a part of the U17 United States National Team and played in the FIFA U17 World Cup, but made his senior debut with the Puerto Rico National Team in 2016.

MNUFC2 returns to the pitch in 2026 for its fifth season in MLS NEXT Pro, with a full-season schedule to be released in the coming weeks.
