The Twos are on the precipice of the postseason, and this weekend’s electric matchup will take place at a venue to match the high stakes. Join us at Allianz Field as Minnesota hosts defending champions North Texas SC in a big-time battle. North Texas sits just below the playoffs line at 37 points, and Minnesota hovers just above, tied with sixth- and eighth- place Ventura County and Austin at 38 points. With just three matches remaining before the postseason, every point is crucial.
This match will be a tone-setter ahead of the team’s penultimate match against the West’s third-place Colorado Rapids 2, and a real challenge as they look to rein in North Texas’ Samuel Sarver, who leads MLS NEXT Pro with 16 goals. The Twos most recently held league-leading St. Louis to a draw on the road with Logan Dorsey’s eighth goal of the season, a big result against a team nobody has beaten since early May. North Texas has ended their last two matches with 1-1 draws, most recently falling in a shootout to last-place Sporting Kansas City II. Parking
Fans can find free parking on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot C and the North, Shopping Center, and Midpoint Lots.
Gates
Fans should plan to enter Allianz Field via the Southwest Gate, which will open one hour prior to kickoff. Seating will be available in the Supporters’ Section and west sideline (sections 20 to 36).
Team Store
The Black & Blue Team Store will open along with the gates one hour prior to kick! Swing by to stock up on MNUFC swag. Note that only the main Team Store will be open for this match.
Security Screening and Bag Policy
Check out our clear bag policy to make the entry process easy! Reminder that you CAN bring empty, clear, plastic water bottles into the stadium. If your water bottle doesn’t meet that standard, you’ll have to leave it at home. Even if it’s made of 100% pure titanium and can be taken to the bottom of the ocean, it can’t be taken into Allianz Field.
Food and Beverage
Fuel up for matchday with everything from brats to tacos at the Hungry Loon in Section 34. This will be the only concession stand open, but it’ll be serving its full menu of meals, snacks, and drinks!
Cashless Purchasing
All ticket and in-stadium purchases will be conducted in a touchless manner.
Autograph Alley
MNUFC2 players will be signing autographs after the match. Fans who want to score some signatures should plan to meet behind Section 28 of the bowl starting in the 85th minute of the match to be guided down to the autograph area by event staff.
Postgame PKs
Once the players have cleared the field after Autograph Alley, fans between the ages of 3 and 15 will have the chance to take a PK on the very same turf that the team plays on. Fans who want to participate should plan to meet behind section 36 of the bowl starting in the 85th minute of the match, where they’ll be guided down to the event by field staff after signing a waiver.
