2021 SEASON UPDATES

Minnesota United’s home opener is on Saturday, April 24 against Real Salt Lake and we’re frankly overjoyed to be able to welcome season ticket members back to Allianz Field for the first time since 2019. Below we’ve detailed important updates and information pertaining to your membership and the 2021 season.

PAYMENT PLAN & MEMBERSHIP CREDIT

While we would of course love to host 18 games with a full stadium of fans this season, we know that’s an unrealistic hope. For this reason, similar to last season, we have suspended the monthly payment plan for the 2021 season ticket membership. We will not be collecting the April, May, June and July payment plan installments. Please note that if you have already made payment in full, the above payment changes will not apply to you. The total balance paid toward your 2021 season ticket membership — including credit applied from the 2020 season — will soon display as a credit on your account. Check your SeatGeek account next week to see your credit balance. This credit can be applied towards ticket purchases for games played at Allianz Field in this season if you choose to attend.* Please note that we will keep a record of your current season ticket membership seating location — you will not lose it. You will have access to your seating location as soon as games are played at full capacity.

Membership credit cannot be applied to secondary market resale ticket purchases.

SECURING TICKETS TO LIMITED CAPACITY GAMES

Throughout the season, we expect the capacity at our games to fluctuate as state and local health and safety protocols evolve. To accommodate this ever-changing situation, we will be releasing a limited number of games grouped together at one time in what we’ll call “packages,” followed by single game presales.

Packages
Season ticket members will have exclusive access to purchase packages as they become available. This option gives you access to the best locations and allows you to secure the same seating location for every game included in the package at the season ticket member rate, without fees. Please note that due to social distancing guidelines, your 2021 season ticket membership location cannot be guaranteed. Members can purchase up to four (4) tickets per game in pods of two (2) or four (4) based on availability. Inventory will be extremely limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Package # 1 will include 4 games:
Saturday, 4.24 vs. Real Salt Lake
Saturday, 5.1 vs. Austin FC
Wednesday, 5.12 vs. Vancouver Whitecaps
Saturday, 5.15 vs. FC Dallas

*The purpose of these packages is to offer our season ticket members the ability to attend as many games as possible. Packages should not be purchased with the intent to resell tickets. Season ticket members who resell more than 50% of the games within a package will lose the ability to participate in future package presales.

Single Game Presales
The single game presale is now exclusive to season ticket members who did not purchase Package #1. Members can purchase up to four (4) tickets per game, based on availability. Please note that inventory will be extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuesday, 4.6 – 10:00 a.m.: Itasca Society Members*
Tuesday, 4.6 – 2:00 p.m.: Remaining Season Ticket Members

Single Games within Package #1
Monday, 4.12 – 10:00 a.m.: Exclusive window for Itasca Society Members*
Monday, 4.12 – 2:00 p.m.: Remaining Season Ticket Members gain access

*Itasca Society Members do not lose access when the purchase window opens for remaining Season Ticket Members.

We know it’s been awhile, so as a reminder, all season ticket member presales are accessed through the Offers Tab of your SeatGeek online Account Manager. You will see 4 separate links, one for each game. We recommend prioritizing your selections based on which game(s) you are most interested in attending. After purchasing tickets to a game, access the offers tab again to select another game while inventory lasts.

TICKET RESALE & TRANSFER

Due to social distancing and health and safety protocols, tickets must be purchased and resold in an “all or nothing” fashion. For example: if you buy four total tickets together and can no longer attend a game, all four tickets must be posted for sale at once. You will be unable to post for sale only two of the four tickets.

Single and partial ticket transfers to members of a single household are permitted.

AFFECTED STADIUM AREAS

Club Spaces
Due to health and safety protocols including the prohibited use of the player tunnel, the Field Club will be closed. Limited seats in section F1, F2, F9 and F10 will be available for purchase, but will not have inclusions or access to the interior Field Club space and must be accessed from the West Concourse rather than the Premium Entrance. While other club spaces will open in a socially distanced capacity and will maintain inclusions, the offerings will be impacted by food and beverage safety protocols.

Wonderwall
Until further notice, the Wonderwall — sections 20-24 — will be sold as assigned, seated locations rather than safe standing general admission. This change is to accommodate the mandatory social distancing policies set forth in the current State of Minnesota Emergency Executive Order.

PARKING

Due to the ever-changing situation this season, we are unable to offer season-long parking passes. Parking will be available on a single game basis only and will be available for purchase when games go on sale. Season Ticket Members who purchased a full season parking pass have been credited the full amount paid for the season pass. These funds will be reflected in your membership credit.

POTENTIAL RETURN TO FULL STADIUM GAMES

We remain hopeful that we will return to full stadium capacity at some point during the 2021 season. If/when MNUFC receives approval to host 100% capacity at Allianz Field, we will count our Season Ticket Members “in” and assign your original 2021 season ticket membership seating location to your account. You will then be given an opt-out period to alert us if you decide not to attend and opt out of the remaining full stadium games in 2021. Following the opt-out period, MNUFC will automatically apply any remaining membership credit and/or charge the credit card on file for your tickets to remaining full stadium games in 2021.
