With more and more Minnesotans getting vaccinated and COVID-19 numbers on the decline, we’re getting closer to getting back to something like normal with each day. Earlier this month, Governor Walz announced the timeline for the easing of state COVID-19 restrictions beginning on May 28. We couldn’t be more excited to announce that this statewide easing of restrictions means we will be able to return to full stadium games, beginning with our game against Austin FC on June 23. Below are details on what this means for season ticket members!
REMAINING SAFETY PROTOCOLS
While restrictions have been eased in our state, Major League Soccer will continue to protect the health and safety of fans, staff and players through specific safety protocols.
In some cases, some season ticket members’ seating locations will be affected by these protocols. If your seats are affected, you will be notified directly and provided an alternate solution. We will continue to consult with the league and health and safety officials to evaluate these protocols and provide updates to our members’ whose seats are affected. Because current safety protocols include prohibiting the use of the player tunnel, the BMW Field Club will remain closed.
Face coverings will continue to be required indoors and recommended outside at Allianz Field until further notice.
THE RETURN TO FULL STADIUM GAMES
Unless you have been notified otherwise, your original 2021 season ticket seating location has been assigned to your account for 14 remaining home games — 13 MLS games and 1 bonus game, to be announced. Unless you tell us otherwise, we’ll count you in, apply your remaining membership credit toward the 14 games and charge you for any outstanding balance over three installments on June 15, July 15 and August 15.
If you want your seats for all remaining MNUFC home games, no action is necessary. If you do not want your season ticket seats for all remaining MNUFC home games, you must opt out by Friday, June 4 at 5:00 p.m. To opt out, log in to your SeatGeek Account Manager, navigate to your offers tab and select and complete the offer titled “2021 Full Stadium Opt Out.” Please note that by opting out, you are releasing your season ticket seating location and season ticket member rate for games in 2021, but this will not affect your ability to renew your current seating location for the 2022 season.
Season ticket members who opt out of their seats for the remainder of the 2021 season will have the option to purchase single game tickets. Please note these tickets will be limited and priced at the single game rate.
PAYMENT PLAN & MEMBERSHIP CREDIT
If you do not opt out of your 2021 seating location for the remainder of the 2021 season, we will apply your remaining membership credit toward the 14 games and charge you for any outstanding balance over three installments on June 15, July 15 and August 15. Click here to view our amended Season Ticket Member Agreement.
Your membership credit balance can be viewed in the Payment Tab of your SeatGeek Account Manager.
If you opt out of your seating location for the remainder of the 2021 season, your membership credit will remain on file. Membership credit on file can be used for single game purchases and can be applied to the 2022 season during the renewal period, beginning at the end of June. Membership credit cannot be applied to secondary market resale ticket purchases.
The deadline to opt out is Friday, June 4 at 5:00 p.m.
Parking will continue to be available for purchase on a single game basis. With the return to full stadium games, we hope to offer a packaged parking option and will share more details as soon as they’re finalized. Single-game parking can be purchased here.
