Minnesota United hits the road for the last time until August for a Thursday night match against NYCFC at Yankee Stadium. NYCFC is riding high after its first road win against cross-town rival New York Red Bulls, and will be looking to continue its dominance at home. The Loons are still searching for their first win away from TCF Bank Stadium. With a pair of strong performances last week, MNUFC will need to carry that momentum if it wants to claim points off of one of MLS’ top teams. Spanish legend David Villa and American sensation Christian Ramirez have been battling in the MLS scoring ranks, and will be the go-to options for scoring on Thursday night. A win here would give the Loons a solid boost ahead of a long home stretch.
