Minnesota United's Celebrity Season Ticket Holders -

Name: Dan Marino
Season ticket holder since: 2014
Why I’m a season ticket holder: "Honestly, it's because to me there's nothing more exciting than a good soccer match and being able to support my home team — I just had to do it. I love being at the games — it's the best atmosphere I've ever been to for a professional sport. I'm a big football fan, hockey and all that. But none of that compares to being in the middle of a Minnesota United match."

Minnesota United's Celebrity Season Ticket Holders -

Name: Vanessa Williams
Season ticket holder since: 2016
Why I’m a season ticket holder: "It's a little bit of a long story. We got invited to a game when the team was playing in Blaine by some friends, and soccer's been part of our family: my dad was a soccer player, my husband played for Burnsville High School and my oldest son played for Eagan High School. That's one part of it. The other part is that it's about time that soccer was recognized here in Minnesota like it's recognized all over the world. It transcends a lot of cultural boundaries. So it's just an awesome time to be a fan of Minnesota United."

Minnesota United's Celebrity Season Ticket Holders -

Name: Steven King
Season ticket holder since: 2002
Why I’m a season ticket holder: "I've been coming to games for years and years. I've actually had season tickets of the various iterations of the club back to probably 2002. So it wasn't a hard decision to keep going with bigger stuff like moving to MLS. The home opener was a fun day and I think the snow just made it great as far as it being Minnesota. I didn't mind the weather."

Minnesota United faces the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, April 23 at TCF Bank Stadium, presented by the Minnesota Corn Growers’ Association. Kickoff is at 5:00 p.m. and single match tickets are still available. It’s not too late to join the Itasca Society. Fewer than 700 spots remain in this exclusive club as we rapidly approach the inaugural season limit of 11,842 members — one for every lake in Minnesota. A portion of all proceeds from these season tickets are donated to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ Loon Monitoring program. Both season and single match tickets are available now at MNUFC.COM or by calling 763.4SOCCER.
