ACQUIRED: Traded from Atlanta United on 12.10.2017

Heath joined MNUFC on December 10, 2017 after playing for fellow expansion side Atlanta United during the 2017 MLS season, where he made one appearance amid a loan spell with Sacramento Republic FC of the USL. The midfielder spent one month in California, from June 30 to July 31, and featured in a combined three matches, including two in league play.

The Newcastle-under-Lyme native signed his first professional contract with Orlando City SC during the latter half of the 2014 USL PRO campaign, appearing in six matches — starting five times — over the Lions’ first two seasons in the league. He also started on 13 occasions for Orlando City B over 2016, scoring once.

Heath spent time with Houston Dynamo and Norwich City youth teams, taking part in the 2013 FA Youth Cup as a part of the under-18 side with the latter, before moving to Orlando. The son of Head Coach Adrian Heath, he holds a U.S. green card and qualifies as a homegrown player in the Loons’ roster.
