Molik Jesse Khan
Trinidad and Tobago international Molik Jesse Khan was signed as MNUFC2’s first international signing. The midfielder made five appearances (two starts) during the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro season. Due to international duty and a season-ending hip injury, his minutes on the pitch were limited. Over the summer, he received a call up with both the Trinidad and Tobago senior and U-20 national teams during the June international window. With the senior team, Khan made four substitute appearances in Concacaf Nations League B, Group C matches against the Bahamas, Nicaragua and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Following his time with the Trinidad senior team, the midfielder joined the U-20 camp as it competed in the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship. Khan notably was named team captain and played the full 90 minutes in all three Group B contests and scored in Trinidad’s final group match – a 3-0 victory over Suriname. Khan then found the back of the net against Costa Rica in the Round of 16, scoring Trinidad’s only goal of the match in a 4-1 defeat. Khan is one the youngest members of the Trinidad and Tobago National Team, making his senior international debut as a sub in a friendly against Bolivia at 17 years old. He began his professional career with W Connection, part of the TT Pro League, where he scored his first professional goal at just of 15 years old, making it a historical appearance for the club.
