Biography
MNUFC2 acquired midfielder Juan Mosquera via a one-year loan, through July 2023, in August 2022. The Colombian midfielder made three appearances (two starts) to finish out the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro season. Mosquera joined the Loons from Cortulua of the Colombian First Division, Liga Dimayor. The 20-year-old defender, who was born in Cali, Colombia, made five first-division appearances for Cortulua during the 2021-22 season. Additionally, while Cortulua was in the Second Division, Mosquera saw action in three matches during the 2020-21 season. Mosquera also made an appearance for Cortulua in the 2022 Copa Colombia.
