Biography
During the inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season, defender Jason Ramos was a steadfast member of the back line, making 19 appearances (18 starts), scoring one goal and providing one assist. The defender’s season ended early when he tore his ACL in his left leg in August. Following successful reparative surgery, his expected recovery is nine months. Ramos joined MNUFC2 after two seasons with the Chattanooga Red Wolves of the USL League One where he played 42 games, making two playoff appearances and scoring three goals. In 2021, the center-back was named to the USL League One All-League First Team and was a finalist Defender of the Year. He ranked second among outfield players with 211 recoveries and third among the league’s defenders with a +5.67 Goals Added mark as he notched 15 key passes with a goal and an assist when joining the attack.
