Jack Clarkson
Biography
MNUFC2 announced in May of 2026 that the club signed midfielder Jack Clarkson to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through 2026, with a club option for 2027. He was then available for selection during the May 16 game versus Houston Dynamo 2, where he entered as a second-half substitute and played 18 minutes, marking his professional debut appearance. Clarkson joined MNUFC2 after playing four seasons collegiately at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington from 2022-25. With UNCW, the defensive midfielder made 64 game appearances (45 starts), where he provided 12 assists and scored twice across his collegiate career. Following his final season with the Seahawks, Clarkson was named as an All-Coastal Atlantic Association Third Team honoree.
