Geremy Rodas
Biography
MNUFC2 acquired defender Geremy Rodas via a one-year loan, through July 2023, in August 2022 and did not make any appearances during the first MLS NEXT Pro season. Rodas joined the Loons from Lobos UPNFM of the Honduras topflight, Liga Nacional. Internationally, the 18-year-old center-back has represented Honduras at the youth level, being named to the Honduras Under-20 squad. He has so far made six appearances while scoring one goal and providing an assist – all during the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship. Rodas’ goal came in the Round of 16 match against Curacao (June 25), a victory that sent Honduras to the Quarterfinal against Panama (June 28) in which he played 90 minutes. The defender then saw a full 90 minutes of action in the 3-0 Semifinal defeat, falling to the United States (July 1).
