3’ -* MNUFC2 created the game’s first dangerous scoring chance as Marcus Caldeira let a crossed ball roll by him at the top of the box, where he found Troy Putt, who struck an uncontested ball towards the center of the goal, but Dynamo 2 goalkeeper Pedro Cruz made the save.
9’ - Houston responded quickly as Cruz’s long goal kick bounced over an MNUFC2 defender, finding Austin Brummett, who drove on the breakaway and took a shot aimed at the bottom right corner of the net, but MNUFC2 goalkeeper Kayne Rizvanovich dove to his left and turned it away.
25’ (1-0) - MNUFC2 opened the scoring on a quick passing play in the box as Luciano Pechota chipped a short cross over to Darius Randell, who took two touches and snuck the ball through a Dynamo 2 defender’s legs and into the bottom-right corner of the net.
27’- The Twos kept the offensive pressure building as Samuel Vigilante pounced on a Houston turnover and drove to the net, slipping a pass to Randell inside the box at the same spot from which he scored, but the midfielder drove the ball just wide of the right post.
34’ - Houston leaned on their counter once more as Cruz launched a long pass to Myles Gardner, who sprinted up the right sideline and turned inside along the MNUFC2 endline, before the Twos’ defense cleared out his cross.
47’ (1-1) - Dynamo Dos opened the second half with a tying goal as Samir Mohammad crossed the ball from outside the right of the box, tipping off Rizvanovich’s hands. The ball fell perfectly and was headed home by Austin Brummett.

65’ - The Twos sustained high offensive pressure as Darius Randell drove past three Houston defenders on the right sideline and ran into the box, sending a pass that connected with Caldeira for an uncontested shot, but the ball deflected off his left leg directly towards the Dynamo 2 goalkeeper.
73’ - Twos goalkeeper Rizvanovich made a spinning-kick save as he jumped to deflect a dangerous chance from the Dynamo 2 striker Brummet, keeping the match tied.
89’ - MNUFC2 created another threatening live ball in the box on a corner kick attempt, where Jakob Friedman played a ball in the middle of the Dynamo 2 defense, but the ball trickled out slowly by the near post.
