Beginning with the game itself, Minnesota United seeks to connect communities through initiatives including mini-pitches and clinics in order to cultivate the sport in the Twin Cities and surrounding communities.
Soccer Night Out – Feb. 25, 2020
Join MNUFC and Blue Cross and Blue Shield for the first Soccer Night Out event of 2020! There will be music, player appearances, PK visits, games and more throughout the event, with a youth soccer clinic run by MNUFC Camps coaches from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for kids ages 6-12.
The doors open at 9:00 a.m. and the main attractions are the 3rd Annual Surly Boot Soccer tournament from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the launch of the new 2020 kit in the Black & Blue Team Store, including appearances by players and PK throughout the day.

Minnesota United, Saint Paul Parks & Recreation Department, Target and the U.S. Soccer Foundation together unveiled a new mini-pitch at Hamline Park on Friday. Just blocks from Allianz Field, the new mini-pitch will be an accessible place for local community members to play soccer, while also supporting local youth soccer programming and encouraging free play.
