The L’Étoile Du Nord
The L’Étoile Du Nord (Star of the North) program presented by Bell Bank recognizes community members who embody the core values of the club. MNUFC is resilient, inclusive and dedicated and values passion, teamwork and respect and through this program hopes to highlight people making a difference behind those values at halftime of every home match.
MNUFC Unified Team
In 2013, MLS WORKS – Major League Soccer’s community outreach initiative – announced a partnership with Special Olympics to bring soccer to athletes with intellectual disabilities, leveraging the strength of Major League Soccer to promote awareness, respect, inclusion and acceptance of Special Olympics athletes throughout the soccer community.

2020 Unified Team Tryouts
Minnesota United and Special Olympics Minnesota held tryouts for the 2020 Unified soccer team last week. Athletes and partners took the field at the National Sports Center in Blaine in hopes of joining the squad ahead of its fourth season. Presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.

Minnesota United FC joined Special Olympics Minnesota for an afternoon of snow tubing at Buck Hill in Burnsville.
Celebrating Pride All Month
Major League Soccer and Minnesota United have announced the launch of the second annual Soccer For All Month. While the commitment to Soccer For All is ongoing, Soccer For All month showcases the collective efforts taking place throughout the League to foster more inclusive communities.
MNUFC Pride Game
Minnesota United celebrates the LGBTQ+ community this June by hosting its sixth annual Pride Game against the Philadelphia Union on Sunday, June 2 at 3 p.m. MNUFC was the first professional sports team to sign the Athlete Ally pledge in October of 2014, demonstrating a commitment to equality and inclusiveness – two guiding principles that the club has carried forward with it into Allianz Field and Major League Soccer.
