Schuller Called Up by Finland

Minnesota United midfielder Rasmus Schuller has been called up by the Finnish Men’s National Team ahead of its FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Turkey. Finland will also play Austria in an international friendly.

Schuller has been a fairly regular part of Finland’s squad since he debuted on the international stage back in 2013. He has made 21 appearances for his country, his most recent in a 1-0 win over Morocco back in January. He has subbed on in three of Finland’s qualifying matches this cycle, facing Kosovo, Iceland and Croatia last fall.

Both of Finland’s matches will be on the road, first traveling to Turkey on March 24, then to Austria on the 28.

Minnesota United squares off against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, April 1 at TCF Bank Stadium and single match tickets are still available. It’s also not too late to join the Itasca Society. Over 11,000 season tickets have already been sold, rapidly approaching the inaugural season limit of 11,842 members in this exclusive club — one for every lake in Minnesota. A portion of all proceeds from these season tickets are donated to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ Loon Monitoring program. Both season and single match tickets are available now at MNUFC.COM or by calling 763.4SOCCER.
